SAP PowerDesigner - Data Modeling
The PowerDesigner Data Modeling training is the perfect training if you have never or rarely worked with PowerDesigner. The focus of this training is on modeling data structures and lineage.
The training consists of a number of modules spread over 2 days
Day 1
- Introduction to using PowerDesigner
- Modeling logical data models (entities, attributes, inheritance)
- Forward and Reverse engineering
- Modeling data flows (mappings)
Day 2
- Modeling with the MDDE extension
- Model checks, analysis and reporting options in PowerDesigner
- Version control on models, repository, merging models
In addition to theory, each module consists of assignments, so that these are two interactive days in which the participants also spend a lot of time at the controls themselves.
